Rad Innovations LLC™ will be at the Vermont Adaptive Charity Ride!

Formerly known as the Long Trail Century Ride to benefit Vermont Adaptive, the 9th Annual Vermont Adaptive Charity Ride presented by Long Trail Brewing is coming up on Saturday, June 22nd! This fun and inclusive event is designed to raise funds for adaptive sports and recreation programs from Vermont Adaptive Ski & Sports. The goal is to raise $300,000 for VT Adaptive programs. RAD-Innovations LLC™ is pleased to announce that they will be attending the event once again with recumbent trikes and tandems  for people to try out.

“Vermont Adaptive Ski & Sports is a nationally recognized organization that empowers people of all abilities through inclusive sports and recreational programming regardless of ability to pay. In addition to sports, year-round programming options integrate environmental, holistic wellness, and competitive training philosophies for people of all ages with cognitive, developmental, physical and emotional disabilities.”

Up to 700 cyclists, including riders with disabilities and their guides, are expected to attend this year! The event offers 100, 60, 40 and 20 mile riding loops as well as a family-friendly 5K bike ride. All courses start and end at the Long Trail Brewery on Route 4 in Bridgewater Corners, Vermont. After the ride, the fun continues with an after party at the brewery, including BBQ, live music, family entertainment, refreshments and more. The Starline Rhythm Boys and Bob Marley tribute band Duppy Conquerors will provide live music. Other activities at the party include face painting, a silent auction, and a vendor village. Apres-Ride party only tickets are available for $20 if you can’t make the ride but want to join in on the fun and support adaptive sports!
 
This year, the mountain bike “Snowshed Session” at Killington Resort will take place on Sunday morning (June 23rd), but don’t worry - your mountain bike registration includes admission to the party on Saturday and all the other goodies! Mountain bike riders will be placed in divisions by age class and will have two timed runs. Prizes will be awarded to the top finishers in each division.
