RAD Winter Adaptive Biking with the Fat Trike

Larry Buck's left side was paralyzed by a stroke in 2009. To continue his passion for off-road riding, he first got a Hase Kettwiesel adapted by RAD-Innovations. When winter comes, Larry did not give up on his trail adventures.

The Rikert Outdoor Center in Ripton, VT and RAD helped Larry get on an ICE Full Fat trike that can take him over snow-covered fields and mountain trails. 

To help more people with disabilities break the confines of their home and enjoy the outdoors, the Rikert Outdoor Center is now raising money to create an adaptive trike program. See Larry's story below and the fundraiser page here.
