Once again RAD-Innovations will be participating in the ACORN Tour de Farms, starting & ending in Vergennes, VT on Saturday, September 21st. We'll be offering support to adaptive cyclists and will have a limited number of adaptive inclusive bikes to lend to those interested - contact us for details.
This is a really fun event where participants ride through Vermont's beautiful Champlain Valley and have the opportunity stop along the way to visit various farms. Each farm will host additional food and beverage producers so you'll have plenty of opportunities to sample and purchase locally-made produce and foods. This year there are two routes offered: the 30 mile route with 8 farm stops and a more family-friendly and relaxed 10 mile route with 4 farm stops. Each route ends in Vergennes at the Eat on the Green event, where you can enjoy local food and craft beverages, music, games and other family-friendly activities. If you haven't registered already, visit ACORN.org/tourdefarms and sign up! The Tour de Farms supports ACORN’s (Addison County Relocalization Network) mission to promote the growth and health of local food and agriculture in Vermont’s Champlain Valley.
