“You can just tell it was designed by people who love bikes.” - Maria Jeanne Dompierre, EVOlution rider & recumbent bike blogger The ultimate in recumbent design from Hase Bikes Hase takes their Kettwiesel recumbent trike to the next level with the EVOlution, providing superior comfort and performance with the ultimate combination of design and componentry. Independent Rear Wheel Suspension The EVOlution’s independent suspension system with air shocks, coupled with a sway bar like the ones used in automotive design, provides a smooth ride with superlative comfort - without sacrificing any of the Kettwiesel’s well-known feeling for maximum fun on three wheels. Common road hazards like curbs and cobblestones present no obstacle for this trike. Effortless Automatic Shifting with Shimano Steps & Di2 Comfort and performance move to the next level with the EVOlution’s seamlessly integrated Shimano Steps mid-motor with automatic shifting. The motor harmonizes perfectly with the rider so that it feels like the energy is coming from your own legs, but with more power and less exertion. The Shimano Di2 shifting system, a standard feature on the EVOlution, is the ultimate in riding comfort. Gears can be shifted with the touch of a button - electronically, without gear cables. Or you can let the Di2 do the shifting for you: it can be set to change gears automatically, leaving you free to enjoy the ride and your surroundings. This clever control system even learns over time, adapting to your preferences. A robust eight-speed Shimano Alfine hub under the fully adjustable ergonomic seat is a perfect, maintenance-free counterpart to the motor. It transmits torque to the differential unit, which drives both rear wheels, allowing the EVOlution to maintain traction when riding on slippery or loose surfaces. Quality Engineered to the last detail The EVOlution’s disc brakes guarantee that superior stopping power is delivered smoothly when you need it. There’s even an integrated parking brake. A quick-adjust mechanism makes it easy to change the length of the front boom to accommodate different riders’ legs, without the need to change the chain length, and length-adjustment markings on the boom make changing from one rider to another quick and easy. The EVOlution’s frame is easily foldable for storage or transport - simply pull the quick-release levers on the seat and pull a cord to fold your EVOlution into a hatchback-friendly 3’2” long footprint. The LED headlight allows you to extend your ride beyond daylight hours for additional usefulness and enjoyment. Lots of Optional Accessories
There are numerous accessories available to transform your trike into a wonder of multifunctionality. The ingenious Roller Bag, available in two sizes, hangs behind the seat and can carry a week’s worth of groceries - and doubles as a wheeled shopping basket. A foldable fairing with gull-wing door can be mounted in seconds should you encounter inclement weather. The slip resistant rain cover keeps your seat warm, dry, and protected. The Hase Kettwiesel EVOlution combines head-turning design with real world practicality and convenience. Contact us today to arrange a demo ride and join us in the revolution of the EVOlution in the ultimate in performance and comfort.

What is the recommended mounting location for water bottles on the Kettwiesel? I would like to mount two, but I am not happy with what I have tried so far (minoura mount).

Is there a program through the VA that assists disabled Vets, or is there a non-profit that does? Thanks in advance...

I would be grateful if you will provide information regarding the power-output of the drive motor for the Hase Trigo trike and also for the Kettwiesel Evo Steps trike. I have owned a Trigo and now own an Evo. The performance of the two are not equal. Thank you.
